I’ve always considered myself to be a more creative person so naturally, my learning style is more hands on. I find that I have a very successful final product if it is something physical where I can incorporate my artistic skill. Animas is very accommodating to this learning style which is the main thing that drew me to the school. The other important factor was the rigorous college prep. We are fortunate enough to have a college and career counselor and an internship coordinator so we receive a lot of individual attention. Possibly one of the most important things to me in my academic career is having strong relationships with my teachers and this is one of the main focuses at Animas. I am very comfortable with talking to my teachers about my school work and my personal life. I feel that I can advocate for myself and my voice will be heard.
