block printing
In the Block Printing project, we carved images into foam blocks. We started out by drawing the picture that we wanted to print on a piece of paper and then we transferred it to the blocks. After we transferred it, we used carving tools to remove parts of the block to create an image. In order to create the picture, we rolled ink onto it with a brayer and printed it onto a piece of paper. I layered my prints on top of paint in order to add some more color.
